WORDS FROM THE ARTIST - J.F.PODEVIN

Intro:
I call these drawings “semaphores” because they resemble nautical flag signals. They are imaginary dance steps that express intricate states of mind that are harder for me to describe with words. In the beginning, these drawings were like a personal language. Today, I hope that they communicate a fun, intriguing or positive message.
It is a little bit like when people do spontaneous gestures or a dance just for fun. After all, hand, feet, facial gestures, (and grunts,) were the earliest means of communication and artistic expression between humans and also between humans and animals.

Quantum-Lunar-Step:
This particular sketch shows an anthropomorphic creature engaging in a surreal "triangulation parallax quantum dance", and it is having a lot of fun with it. The more one attempts to decipher the dance, the more elusive its meaning becomes.
It reminds me of Richard Feynman’s famous quote: “If you think that you  understand quantum mechanics, then you do not understand quantum mechanics” (R. Feynman.)
